“Warwick in History” – During the summer of 1926, an anniversary sale was held at Glenmere Home Sites near Florida. Choice locations for summer bungalows were advertised by the Shawnee Development Company, which was based in Goshen; boating, bathing and fishing were advertised also. Nineteen camp bungalows were already occupied by their owners, and several more were under construction.

Prices for the lots at Glenmere Home Sites ranged from $100 to $600. If a purchaser of a lot built a bungalow that summer, and had it ready for occupancy by September 1, 1926, half the price of the lot would be refunded by the development company.
